The Feminist Park Project aims at creating a green intersectional-feminist urban space in Berlin. This is a call to society to imagine a ‘radical’ space for equality, to center the voices which have been pushed to the periphery and to help elevate public spaces to ever greater heights.

As artists and designers, we have the opportunity and the power to shape the world in many different ways – through processes, environments, objects, systems and interactions – to name but a few. We influence how people perceive, have access and navigate in this world, and by choosing our organizational structures, products, services and work ethics, we can (re)shape the economic system.

Each workshop consists out of two sessions, one discussion and one visit. You can also take part in the events individually.

Transformative creative practice is a series of discussions, followed up by live meetings with various lecturers and initiatives. It is considered for students, graduates or creative professionals who look for sustainable strategies for their businesses, projects or other endeavors from Berlin. 

The focus is on transformative ideas and projects where individuals or collectives dare, to some extent, to change the status-quo through their creative practice. Each topic is introduced with a theoretical framework that potentially can help participants to navigate complexity or take complexity as it is and play with it. A special focus is put on being exposed to various human and non-human contexts as well as meeting individuals from various cultural and professional backgrounds.
