Apply for EXIST-Women scholarship and program 2025

For the EXIST-Women Program 2025, seekicks and the DesignFarm Berlin support female students and graduates of the weißensee school of art and design berlin** in the development of their entrepreneurial projects in design and art. The scholarship includes three months of funding (1000€-2500€/month) as well as an accompanying programme to strengthen entrepreneurial skills and develop a sustainable financing strategy. Both individuals and teams (up to three members) can apply for a scholarship:

The EXIST- Women’s application process consists out of 2 stages:

• Fill in the attached application form (PDF)
• The selected applicants take part in our application workshop, probably mid of March 2025. You will present your project and venture in front of our jury, and get in touch to our ecosystem of former EXIST-Women scholars, DesignFarm participants and mentors.

Formal criteria

1. You have a Diploma/Bachelor or Master degree in Design/Fine Arts**.
   
2. In case you already have founded a company: the date of your business registration is not more than 3 months before your application to EXIST-Women.
   
3. Your place of residence is Berlin.
   
4. You don’t receive and haven’t received any grants through other German start-up programs (e.g. EXIST, BSS like DesignFarm Berlin grant).
   
5. It is expected that you invest at least 50% of your time in your new venture, and you are not working more than 20h/week during the scholarship.
   
6. You don’t receive any Bafög, Einstiegsgeld, ALG1 or Elterngeld during the funding period.
